the objective:
Tasked with creating a brand identity for a small handyman and remodeling business, I sought out to design a logo, illustration style, and merchandise for Montalvo's Handyman and Remodeling.
the concept:
To capture the client's 'DIY Dad' brand, which emphasizes approachability and helpfulness, I designed a logo featuring a friendly portrait of the client himself. The business name encircles the portrait, reinforcing the personal and accessible feel.
The client wanted to be seen as the trusted, go-to person for handyman and remodeling services. To achieve this, I prioritized approachability in their branding. This was reflected not only in the friendly logo design but also in the color palette, which features bright and welcoming hues.
