Emotions/Emociones Poster
illustration.
Created for a client who works as an SLP, she wanted educational posters to put in her classroom for students in elementary school to identify how they feel to her. Being an SLP for a very diverse group of children, she stressed the importance of them being able to see themselves in the posters up in her classroom.
Because of this, it was important for the design to feature various different identities. As the designer, I thought about the demographic that she helps everyday in order to inform my illustration decisions.

Color played a major role in these posters. From the skin colors to the small emanata detailing, I wanted the colors to stand out and keep the audience entertained and focused.
Knowing that this poster was to be used as a tool for a group of children, I wanted to make sure the colors stood out enough in order to keep them engaged with the material on the poster
