

the objective:
Tasked with creating a brand identity of an authentic Mexican food truck, I sought out to design a logo, menu designs, merchandise designs and truck designs.
the concept:
For my design, I focused on using traditional Mexican patterns to influence and inspire the logo concept. I used flower imagery that is often found in artisan Mexican tiles, or talaveras, to bring back the feeling of being in a Mexican kitchen while eating authentic cultural cuisine.
The client, a middle-aged Mexican mom, built this food truck from the ground up, with her family as her greatest support system. The brand system is designed to capture that familiar warmth of home and the comfort of a homemade meal, creating a joyful and welcoming experience for everyone who stops by.
